Our Impact

We’re here to give you a great in-store experience, but we’d also like to make the world a better place. That’s why the Bowser Bean team is united in our drive to give back to our communities.

Together we’re bringing wonder, joy and hope to critically ill children through Make-A-Wish

The Make-A-Wish Foundation Australia creates life-changing wishes for children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. They rely completely on the goodwill and energy of the Australian community to make the impossible possible and bring wonder, hope and joy.

Bowser Bean and Vantage Fuels have been raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation since 2011. What started as a Head Office fun run evolved into network-wide initiative with all our stores participating in the campaign. From charity races and dress-up days, to collection tins and selling lolly bags, our team is always thinking up new ways to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish so they can continue to bring magic to families during the hardest time of their lives.

In 2019 we raised $136,191 and we couldn’t have done it without you. So, a big shout out to our team and customers for helping us support this incredibly important organisation for which, over the past decade, we’ve raised over $700,000.

We love sport as much as you do

One of the ways we make a positive impact on our communities is to support our local athletes.

Though we wouldn’t generally recommend driving at high speed, we do sponsor Australian Racing Driver, Scott Pye. He’s currently competing in the Repco Supercars Championship, driving the No. 20 Holden ZB Commodore for Team 18! Scott pops onto our social pages from time to time, so keep an eye out as he zooms by!

Rochester Flood Relief

In response to the recent flood emergency which ruined houses and business including their own service station in Rochester, Bowser Bean rolled up it sleeves to assist. The Bowser Bean team was not only able refurbish its site in record time but was also able to aid in rebuilding community spirit in Rochester.

Seeing this drama firsthand as their own team worked to restore its flood impacted site, Bowser Bean decided to activate its mobile kitchen to feed and caffeinate Rochester residents and the volunteers who were in town managing the enormous recovery response.

For six consecutive days, the Bowser Bean mobile kitchen played a part in lifting community spirit by providing their famous burgers and delicious coffee free of charge.

Not only did this provide the community with some much-needed fuel to assist with the massive clean-up effort but also provided a place to meet, converse and share hardships.

We also love to help local talent thrive by working with many local football, netball and surf clubs.

You might see our Coffee Kombi at games on weekends busy fueling the crowds with barista-made coffee. If you do, come say hi!

Community is important to us

Located across regional Victoria and New South Wales, Bowser Bean serves the varying needs of our towns and communities. And that doesn’t just mean sport! We love to get involved in supporting social clubs, the arts and other local community initiatives.

Reach out if you’d like to talk about sponsorship, a coffee station or breakfast rolls for your next event, or perhaps some goods-in-kind for a charity fund raiser.
